This happens to face out of the shower, so when I turned on the water I got everything in the bathroom wet. That sucked.

On Saturday night. much drinking went on there.
I had a very fun time. I find that I become much more social when I am approaching intoxication. I find it much easier to associate with people I don't already know. That is not to say that I can't when I am totally sober, for me it just becomes easier.

The motivation I talked about earlier is still here. It makes school and all the shit I have to do so much more pleasant.

Yet, sometimes I feel as if I talk too much and analyze things too deeply. The things I fear are rejection and loneliness. All the time I find myself thinking about loneliness and how I fear dyeing alone.

I went to see 311 last night. This was my second time seeing them live. The show was amazing. While I don't think the actual show was better than the tool show, I had more fun at this one. I liked the intimacy of smaller venues such as hammerstein ballroom and roseland ballroom. I also attribute my enjoyment to having general admission tickets for this one.

The setlist was very good. They played every song I hoped they would with just a few exceptions. This is the one band that is probably tied for my favorite band along with tool.

I had a very good week. 311 and tool, my two favorite bands, all within a week of each other.

The Tool concert last night was amazing. It is hard to sum up how much talant that band has unless you have already seen them.

We left my house at about 5:15. We were running a little late so AJ's mom graciously drove us to the train station. After buying our tickets they closed the ticket booth. There was a little kid standing next to us tapping on the window. A guy walk out and yells "Play your drums somewhere else" at us. We decide to walk to the other end of the lobby and about 10 minutes later the same guy accused us of doing things in the bathrooms. We weren't even in the bathrooms. We shrugged it off and waited for the train outside.

When I arrived the opening band, fantomas, was just starting their set. I didn't really enjoy them too much. They were kind of a mix of death metal and speed metal like megadeth. At points it was painful listening to them play. They couldn't seem to controll the feedback. It was funny hearing a bunch of people scream as loud as they can "Get the fuck off the stage".

Our actual seats we paid for weren't too bad, but we ended up moving down. I would have liked to go to the general admissions area but it was supprisingly very small. They cut up the area infront of the stage into 3 sections. The section in front of the stage was the general admissions area, the middle section was the soundboard area, and the very back section was a folding chair section, which was quite possibly the worst seats in the show.

When Tool came on you could feel the energy in the room. When the lights flashed into the crowd, I was amazed at how many people were there. Heh, I have never been in a sold out madison square garden before. They played a long set. As an interlude they played a 15 minute version of parabol. Besides the music, the visuals were top notch as well. They deffinately added to the expirence. They didn't say anything throughout the whole set except right before the last song, which was Lataralus. He said something to the effect of "remember the feeling you have now. Take that feeling, mold it and use it to create something posotive".

After getting out of MSG, which is no easy task, let me tell you, we headed back to penn station. We missed a train by 5 minutes so we had about another 1/2 hour to wait. We got a bite to eat and boarded the train and went home.

It left me wanting more though. I can't wait untill the next time they come back to New York, I am deffinately going to go see them again.

I don't like taking any English classes at all. Well, that is not entirely true, because I enjoy writing, but I hate the way they force books, which you don't want to read, apon you, and make you analyze then until you can't even stand to look at that book anymore.
I don't think it should be this way. I don't think the books should be analyzed to the extent they are. If they want people to read, doing all this takes the fun out of reading. Analyzing every event and theme/symbols of the book also takes away what the book was originally written for, to make a statement, and for people's enjoyment

Last night, Mike stopped by my house for a little while.
He is really a very interesting person. He was with his girlfriend, which is not unusual but he called me up this morning and told me that he broke up with her.
She is going back to college in a week, and he didn't think they could uphold their relationship. I don't blame him really, 'cus long distance relationships are often very hard on people.

I am meeting him tonight and we are going to see american pie 2.

Heh. Make that went to see it. I was interupted earlier and never sent the post. The movie was hilarious. I would definately go see it again, i don't know about the $8.50 though. Damn movie prices are outrageous.
The next movie I want to see is Jay and Silent Bob strike back.

Splish splash today was fun.
It was packed, and the lines were long, but it was fun hanging out with some of my oldschool friends again. By that I mean friends I have had since my early days in gramar school.

I am now back from camp. I guess things were hectic around here, with me not being packed and leaving soon that i forgot to mention that I would be away for a week.

I had fun at camp. It was good weather, and only rained one night. It was upstate, so it never got unbearably hot.

I am off from work all this week. I am going to the movies today. I also went to the movies last night, and saw rat race. It was pretty good. Tomorrow I am going to splish splash with a bunch of my friends.
